The Stratheden Kettle

This fixture has been fought over since the late 19th Century between the curling clubs of Stratheden and Falkland. The kettle is a silver plated wheeled container with a spout and lid, originally used as a warming device for whisky (or other beverage of your choice) when curling on a frozen pond in the middle of winter was the only option for the 'roarin game'.
