The annual friendly between Falkland and our friends from Abdie Curling Club took place on Saturday 2nd November 2019 at Kinross Curling Rink. The match was played on two sheets and proved, as always, extremely competitive with Falkland winning through by 3 shots by the time the bell rang.
A fine spread of soup and sandwiches was provided after the match at the rink and the opportunity was taken to analyse the game and also reminisce about times past. Bill Balfour, a member of both clubs sadly passed in 2012 and the fixture, a long standing one in the history of both clubs, was re-dedicated to his memory. Bill had been the custodian of a fine trophy, no longer played for, for some years and the family donated it, after his passing, to be played for in this fixture.
